Sebastián Johnson Roig
Owner and CEO of “Proyectos Industriales Johnson” (PIJ), a company dedicated to the manufacturing and sales of humidification systems. With more than ten years studying postharvest of fruit species, he has specialized in the continuous improvement of processes related to postharvest. His experience and knowledge in this field have led him to advise producers and export companies with the aim of optimizing the life of fresh fruits through innovation in post-harvest management. He has also opened up the benefits of humidity control in industries such as greenhouses, wine cellars, corks, among others.
Valentina Vesely Avaria
Agricultural Engineer from the University of Chile with 15 years of experience dedicated to research related to fruit species, she has developed her career from a scientific approach in the academic field, as well as from a commercial perspective in private companies. She currently works as Head of Research and Development at “Johnson Industrial Projects” (PIJ), where she leads projects focused on the post-harvest of fruit species. Her work focuses on developing studies that improve the condition and shelf life of fruits, implementing innovative solutions that benefit all links in the supply chain: producers, exporters and consumers.
